Additional Tips and Tricks...
Settings....Generally speaking...
In most cases, students and teachers should not be altering the settings of the iPad.
If the teacher has a question, they should simply ask Patty, Jenny or Fred and they will be happy to assist them. |
Doodle Buddy Tip #1
In order to import a photo from the camera roll, you must first do the following:
1. While in Doodle Buddy, click on the Tic/Tac/Toe button which is on the bottom row. 2. Click the home button to go to settings > privacy >photos 3. Make sure Doodle Buddy is set to on. 4. Go back to doodle buddy, click the Tic/Tac/Toe, click photos and now you can acces the photo library. No printer???? NO PROBLEM!!!!
As we already have figured out, the iPads are not connected to any printers. But don't worry, you and your students can take a screen shot of anything! The picture will automatically go in to the camera roll. If you need to share the picture, have students upload it using Edmodo!
Just follow these simple steps.... Press the on / off switch and the center home button at the same time. You will notice an on-screen flash. If you have sound enabled, you will hear a camera click. |
Edmodo....
Edmodo is a private social networking site where teachers, students, and parents can connect, engage and learn; taking learning beyond the classroom walls.
Edmodo has advanced privacy settings built in, making it a very safe, secure, (and free) platform for schools. Its’ visual similarity to Facebook makes it extremely user-friendly for teachers and students of all ages; and isn’t blocked in most school systems. Visit the tech resource folder in firstclass for information on the Edmodo group codes for our schools. Then follow the instructions on how to create your edmodo page.
